I created some great things out of concrete on a tight budget. You will see my planter I made out of stepping stones, my fountain made out of concrete and if you go to my website you will see another great idea for my patio and all the directions and instructions.

My Plant Stand I Made Out Of Stepping Stones

I bought some stepping stones from Home Depot for $1.00 each, painted them and put a pattern on each of them using stencils. The next step was to stack them to create a plant stand. Total cost of this project including paint and stencils $10.00.

My Water Fountain Made From Concrete

I am always thinking of new ways to improve my yard and garden, so I thought I would share some great unique idea's.  I made water fountains out of concrete! Make a square concrete box to hold the  water, and pumps. Seal it with sealer. Place a grate over the top cover with rocks!I Coil some wire to the shape you want, placed a pipe up through the middle of your design, pour concrete in it. After it dries, smoothed it all out leaving a texture that simulates rock. Then  splatter stain with a toothbrush using about 6 different stain colors.
