First you need to dig a hole under where you want to place your fountain. Place a large plastic tote in your hole, in order to hold the water and pump. Next, make or purchase something with a lid to protect your pump from the rocks. Make sure you use something that allows easy access to the pump. Drill 1/2in holes every 3inches in 2in or 3in PVC pipe. Cut your PVC to the width of your whole. This allows water to get to the pump. Cover with approx. 1 1/2in rock. Next coil stucco lath (simular to chicken wire but smaller holes) Into the shape you desire. Place a plastic hose down the center. (This will take two people) One person hold hose while the other pures concrete. (Fence post is what we used) As it firms up smooth it all out leaving a texture that resembles a rock. Then splatter stain with a toothbrush using about 6 different stain colors. For more Step by step pictures please let us know... ALSO EXCUSE OUR BACK YARD!!!!

My Plant Stand I Made Out Of Stepping Stones
My Water Fountain Made From Concrete
I am always thinking of new ways to improve my yard and garden, so I thought I would share some great unique idea's. I made water fountains out of concrete! Make a square concrete box to hold the water, and pumps. Seal it with sealer. Place a grate over the top cover with rocks!I Coil some wire to the shape you want, placed a pipe up through the middle of your design, pour concrete in it. After it dries, smoothed it all out leaving a texture that simulates rock. Then splatter stain with a toothbrush using about 6 different stain colors.
